Interbike - Day 1

Unfortunately I wasn’t able to attend this year (next year!) but here’s part one of a continuing series this week about what others are reporting on from the show ….

Bike Radar reports FSA is introducing a new hydration system that mounts under you aerobars - of course it’s carbon… dual reserviors and expected in market December with MSRP of about $100. Details

Bicycle reports that Javelin has a pretty cool carbon fiber bike hand designed by John Cobb, master of all things aero. The new frames (Torgiano and Lugano) are built in Italy. Apparently Cobb designed each tube separately and then fit the whole bit together into what Bicycling describes as a “cohesive and very sleek looking frame”.

If you’re interested, you’re probably gonna have to break open that piggy bank…the Lugano runs $5,800 frame and fork, and $7,200 as a full custom.
